Air Curtains

Air curtains are comprised of powerful fans that are mounted over doorways. Via a directed nozzle, the air curtain blows a strong stream of air over the door opening. The air curtain helps form a quiet, invisible barrier that flying insects avoid while allowing pedestrian traffic to come and leave. Air curtains are also referred to as air doors, fly fans or air screens.

In addition to their bug-repelling capabilities, air curtains also help stabilize room temperatures. The air curtains can blow heated air during winter and cooled air during summer to prevent cool or hot air from seeping in from the outside.
Some of the more common applications for air curtains include:

• Door-less shop fronts


• Workshop entrances


• Doors of public building that are opened frequently
