Closed Circuit TV

Closed Circuit TV

Since the events of 2001, security is of the utmost importance to many businesses and individual families in the United States. Officially, Closed Circuit Television is a transmission system in which live or prerecorded video signals are sent over a closed loop to a predetermined group of receivers. These signals are sent either via coaxial cable or as scrambled radio waves that are then later unscrambled at the point of reception. Because of this secure technology, it is also used in live on-site video displays for sporting events and rock concerts. In addition to these events, CCTV has also been used in medical imaging and robotics applications. Whether your video requirements are for security, science, or a live event, closed circuit television can meet your needs.

Second, because all of these cameras can be viewed from a single, central location, a reduction in staffing costs can be achieved as well. While many observation towers and guards were once used to secure a prison, with CCTV this is no longer the case. And the prisons have never been safer or more secure.
