Since the events of 2001, security is of the utmost importance to many businesses and individual families in the United States. Officially, Closed Circuit Television is a transmission system in which live or prerecorded video signals are sent over a closed loop to a predetermined group of receivers. These signals are sent either via coaxial cable or as scrambled radio waves that are then later unscrambled at the point of reception. Because of this secure technology, it is also used in live on-site video displays for sporting events and rock concerts.
