Millions of people now have a computer in the home. Internet usage has skyrocketed, and is rapidly becoming an integral part of everyday life. Since the computer is such a focus in our lives, why not make it the focus of its own room as well?
Many computer rooms also double as home offices, and come in a variety of forms. From the cubicle sized room to the lavishly decorated den, your computer room can be adjusted to whatever style you'd like.
One thing to keep in mind is the size constraints you are dealing with. Computer technology is advancing rapidly, making parts smaller and more powerful. This is good since you can get a lot of computer into a very small space.
Designing Your Computer Room
The first thing to look at is the computer itself. Is the case a full sized tower, a server case, or a miniature sized case? You will want to have the computer tower in a well ventilated spot. Many desks do have enclosures for the computer tower, but you will want to make sure that it is cool enough when closed. The last thing you want is overheating problems!
