Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night craving General Tso's chicken with a side of French fries. And I want to eat that while I am watching a movie and reading over a document that needs to be proofed and sent out to China the next day. The great part? All of that can be delivered to my hot little hand and I don't even have to get up.

How a Delivery Service Works

A few basics without insulting your intelligence:

A delivery service clearly delivers and an exchange of goods for money takes place. However, in the past 10 years, delivery services have come uptown. You can now pay for whatever you have just received with cash, check, credit card or corporate account. There are also a few options on how they order the service. You can pre-arrange a service like an everyday delivery and pick up from your office, you can call for a delivery or you can book online. The mind boggles at how many items are delivery friendly now.
