The words “industrial furnace” can be used to refer to a myriad of products. Furnaces of the industrial variety themselves encompass electric, blast, vacuum and induction furnaces. However, other products that aren't typically labeled as furnaces can also fall into this category, such as kilns and incinerators. Furnaces also have a wide variety of purposes, ranging anywhere from providing heat to disposing of waste and creating steel or pottery. They are made from many kinds of high temperature materials to assure that they do not break down under the high heat conditions over the period of several months that they typically run. Electric furnaces are most commonly used as a source of heat; an energy efficient electric furnace is the preferred heating system for most people. Generally, an electric furnace is easily and inexpensively installed, safe to use and requires very little maintenance, not to mention provides years of dependable service. An electric furnace is ideal for homes, mobile homes, apartments, offices and just about anything. They offer flexibility in design, low maintenance operation, safety and inexpensive installation.
