Labeling around your office can be the first step to organization. Although you probably know where everything goes and what everything is used for, others may not. Labeling can help quickly sort items and put them in their correct places, as well as quickly retrieve forms or packets that a customer may need in your absence. If things are clearly labeled, then the office is better able to work together as a team and get the job done.

Which labels to use

There are many different ways to label things around the office. It may seem easier to just hand write notes and labels on stickers or post-its, however it can be difficult to read other people's hand writing and post-its do tend to fall off. Therefore a label maker is probably the best investment for long term labeling.
