Mailing Machines

Promotional mailings and other outbound mailings are an important part of nearly any business's operations. The task of preparing these mailings was once boring and time-consuming. Papers had to be folded and stuffed manually into envelopes, stamps licked, envelopes sealed and sorted. Today, machines have taken over these tasks, allowing modern businesses greater ease and efficiency in preparing outbound mailings.

There are numerous types of mailing equipment available. Letter folding machines fold papers and stuff envelopes, postage scales accurately weigh letters and parcels to ensure correct postage, postage meters stamp envelopes. Mailing machines, the “base” part of a postage meter, can take care of many of the other tasks of processing mail.
