The United States Postal Service offers several mailing services designed to help businesses send out mailings in the most efficient way.

Retail Mailing Services

Retail mailing services are the same type of service that you use for your personal mailing needs. This type of service is very convenient. You can send any quantity of mail and drop it off anywhere with no special preparation. There are six different types of mailing services available: First-Class, Priority, Express, Parcel Post, Bound Printed Matter, and Media Matter. Depending on the type of mail, extra services can be purchased, including certified mail, registered mail, and insurance. There are no annual fees to use this type of service, but full postage rates are charged.
