Marketing methods and techniques are informed by the studies of psychology, sociology, and economics. Mathematics is also used when compiling marketing data, and marketing research generally employs all of the above subjects into its studies. Advertising is also another aspect of marketing and much of it comes from creativity and psychology. The desired effect in marketing is reaching your customer. Successful marketers will generally accomplish whatever needs accomplishing in order to reach their client. Constant attention towards your customer is the best way to ensure that this occurs.

The 4 P's of Marketing

Marketing is usually divided into four different sections. These four sections are known as “the four P's.” The four P's of marketing are: Product, Pricing, Promotion, and Placement. From these four P's, most organizations or individuals can come up with a marketing plan that suits their needs.
