Store Fixtures

Store fixtures are mobile pieces of equipment used to display products. There are numerous types of store fixtures available for use, each different type dependent on what the store owner wants to display. Store fixtures also vary in size and cost depending on the needs of the store owner.

Mannequins

In a clothing store, one of the best techniques for demonstrating what a clothing product looks like is to clothe a mannequin. Mannequins are a popular store fixture because, as mock people, they replicate exactly how the article of clothing should look when worn. Mannequins are usually constructed out of a hard plastic and some are covered in cloth. Mannequins are made in full-body form as well as single torso or leg mannequins. They can be purchased in different skin tone colors and sizes to represent the different features of a store's customers.
